For younger players, building skill mastery is crucial. It takes about 50-100 accurate repetitions over three days to learn a new skill. It takes about 2,500 accurate repetitions over three weeks to undo a skill learned incorrectly.

At WILBA Summer Camp, we believe it is worth the investment to help younger athletes learn a skill accurately. We also believe that having fun is crucial for future passion. Our camp combines great teaching, high energy, enthusiasm and tons of fun into a week-long experience that younger athletes will love.

Players will be divided into groups based on age. Groups will be adjusted on a daily basis as necessary based on the advice of our staff to ensure that all players are appropriately challenged.

Players will participate in group drills to build the following skills:

• Ballhandling, dribbling, shooting, layups, passing, rebounding, cutting, offensive and defensive footwork, pivoting, triple threat, man-to-man offense and man-to-man defense.

In addition, the players will participate in the following team-based activities:

• Daily half-court 3v3 and full-court 5v5 games, shooting competitions with and against the coaching staff, and week-long cumulative 'Olympic' competitions.
